La Flagellazione

Code: 27 P

In this detail of the fresco you can clearly see a half-naked female figure who, desperate, takes refuge in the womb
of compassionate sitting companion-advisor, represented in the act to protect her.
Even if not included in this particular, you must know that on the left the flagellant is depicted (a winged female demon) identified with Telete, daughter of Dionisio and Nicaea, who hits her with a whip.
